At LHS my cooperating teacher is using a method called TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling). So far I have seen some amazing progress in the way students read and write in the target language. Yesterday we tried teaching verb conjugations using TPRS instead of the traditional verb charts. It should be interesting to see how the students respond to this method. I think it will go well because students will be able to see how the language is used in context.
